I had one of these 12 years ago and left it in the house that we were renting, sure that I could find another one. I have been searching for 12 years! I am so excited to be able to have one again. I love that it is there when you have bananas to keep them off the counter and keep them from getting bruised and when you don't have bananas you simply fold it out of the way!
I cannot stress enough how wonderful this gadget is! Everyone should have one!

My only complaint is that it doesn't use a modern, "3M Command Strip" sort of adhesive that is super-strong, but you can remove easily, replace, etc. Thus, you can't take this with you and reuse it if you move (explains some of my multiple purchases), and you can't re-stick it if it decides to let go and fall (explains the remainder). It's regular, old-fashioned peel-and-stick. Overall, it's fantastic. Flips down to hold the bunch without getting them all smushy and bruised, then flips out of sight when you're out. For the price, you can just buy new ones if you move or overload it.

I love the concept and was so excied to get it. However, when I put it up it lasted about an hour before it fell off. The adhesive didn't stick and when I tried to adhere it with other adhesives it didn't work. Had to toss it in the garbage. Would be great if it were metal or had screws to keep it attached. Big disappointment as I love the concept and love that it folds away when not in use.

Love these hooks!! As others have noticed, the adhesive is not always the best. Very simple problem to solve. Just put a screw through each end and screw it to the underside of your cabinets. I've had 2 of these hooks for over a year. They are used frequently and have held together with no problem. I would highly recommend using the screws to attach.

The plastic hook is bright white and a bit wider than I would have liked. It really sticks out as a plastic gadget hanging under your counter. I would love a more sleek stainless steel or clear design. Thankfully it tucks away when we don't have bananas which I love (and is the reason I purchased this particular one!)
The double sided tape included to "install" this is a joke. My pack of bananas fell down within 5 minutes. However, the top includes two small holes for screws so it is very simple to screw it in more easily. The company should include two small screws with the kit because there is no way that that tape will hold a bunch of bananas.
