These work! They attract and trap small food mothsApr 04, 2010
By Gary Coffrin These Catchmaster traps work. After first trying to use just a trap or two, I leaned not to skimp if you want quick results. Put a trap in every room, inside each food cabinet, and near exterior doors or other points of entry.
I buy a bundle of 12 or more for our three bedroom house, looking for the best buy at Amazon or at an Internet auction site. The traps are non-toxic and easy to assemble. You may need to wait a few days before seeing results, but you will be impressed by how many moths these trap over time.
Traps in rooms with exterior doors catch the most. I even put a trap in our fireplace because of the air entry from outside. The fireplace trap catches the most - 100+ moths in a couple months.
The traps use pheromone lures, and attract small, grey pantry moths. If you have an infestation, you will need one trap per cabinet with food. Don't neglect food storage areas: A moth in the TV room is annoying; a moth in your cereal is disgusting. I date the traps with a marker so I can quickly spot which traps are the oldest and might need to be thrown out. They seem to work for up to 4-5 months or so.
In bundles of 12 or more, the cost should be under $2 each including postage (2010 pricing). Highly recommended.

Moth eliminatorMay 01, 2011
By Jim Corbett
"If everything's under control, you're going too slow --Mario Andretti"
This stuff works, it does attract the moths and brings the numbers down, however if you expect his to eliminate the moths completely, it is not a right expectation.
Why: since this attracts moths ..flying ones ONLY. Not the Larva, those need to be found and the source of the larva eliminated.
1) find and eliminate source of larva/eggs.
2) Order a dozen of this, set it up everywhere u can think of.
3) collect the moths.
4) If u keep it in the kitchen, take it out when frying/cooking spicy stuff as the flavour in the air overwhelms the pheromones.
5) get a zapper for the moths at night.
6) eventually the war will be won.
Does this work to attract the flying moths: most definitely certainly.

Meal Moths Just Can't ResistSep 27, 2010
By John Queern
"John in BLV"
We had a mild infestation of meal moths on our enclosed back porch where we keep our dry dog & cat food. A pest control contractor sprayed around the edges for us, but this had no effect. He explained that this sort of moth usually arrives inside some meal, pasta or birdseed product-- and the best thing to do is to find and get rid of the source (their food). We put everything we could think of in tight plastic containers, but still had a small gathering of moths on the porch whenever we'd go out-- especially when it was time to feed the animals.
I searched for 'meal moths' online and found this product. At first I thought it was a bit pricey (or came with too many traps at one time)-- but now that I've seen them work, I'm glad I have a good supply.
The first time I placed one of these on the porch near the pet food, I was amazed to see the only visible meal moth immediately fly toward it and get itself caught in the flypaper-like lining of the trap. And then another appeared out of nowhere, and also got itself trapped. A few days later, I had dozens of moths captured in each of two traps which I'd put out. I had no idea there were that many hiding on the porch.
Since then, I've kept rotating traps-- putting out new ones when the old ones looked full. I'm sure I've captured hundreds of meal moths in just the past month. I don't know exactly where they're coming from (possibly outside?), but these traps are the best!

great fun and they workSep 10, 2010
By Julie After fighing these buggers for a long time a neighbor told me about the traps and I ordered. Set up the traps, have a glass of wine and watch the show. It is like watching Wild KIngdom on television. The male moths do a dance right into the trap. It is thrilling after battling them.

Works, but takes about 2 weeksSep 03, 2010
By W. Petta I was willing to spend a bit more money on these, only because I have thrown out a ton of food due to these pesky little buggers. I have had two traps in 2 cupboards for 3 days and have not caught a single moth. I will keep them in there and see what happens....Also if you buy these please note to fold the traps into the given shape BEFORE you pull off the adhesive backing. Make crease lines then open it up and take the backing off.
